Da House: An Industrial House with Peaceful Ambience

Inner Couryard In Contemporary House Design

Da House is a name given to a full-concrete-house which is located near Black Sea coast. This house is designed by Igor Sirotov Architects. According to the news, this house employs the combination of traditional Japanese home design with modern industrial home architecture.

Unlike the other modern or traditional houses which are located in a suburb of a country, Da House is designed very peacefully. This house employs concrete surface and wide open space both inside and outside. On the outside, you can find a large pool which is covered naturally by concrete wall. Besides the pool there is an entrance gate which is also developed from concrete without any artificial paint. Between the interior and exterior of this full-concrete-house is separated by tough concrete wall combined with double large glass panels facing the pool. The glass panels are installed there to gain much sunlight for natural lighting.

Inside the house, we can find large open space which is designed under industrial interior. Natural concrete combined with wooden and metal furniture create peaceful ambience. Actually, this house is developed with 2 different floors. The first floor which is the ground floor is designed for garage which can accommodate 2 cars at once. The garage is equipped with large sliding door and unique transparent ceiling which connect the garage to the upper floor. In the main floor there is a wide space which is designed for living room and dining room. Beside them, there is a small space for indoor garden. This full-concrete-house also features small home cinema, warm fireplace, cozy sofa, and industrial dining table set on the other side. A main bedroom, children’s bedroom, and 3 bathrooms are also developed in the main floor. Da House is a representation of a perfect and peaceful house which is located in a suburb area. This house employs both natural lighting and artificial lighting in balance. The industrial architecture design can be strongly felt from the combination of natural concrete surface, wooden and metal furniture, and the glass decoration.
